Sending love
through the air
hopeful to soon be there

Longing for the lulling
lounging
in the window seat
carelessly flying

Yearning for a year
to stare above the clouds
at yet another sunset
from the air

Wishing for permission
to take flight
without infliction
departing to that special destination

Looking forward
to the day
when given the okay
to be on the way

Hopeful
to soon be landing
one step closer
to loved ones
